We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead kitchen operations, manage staff, and ensure the highest quality of food production. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Indian, Tandoor, Continental, and Fast Food cuisine, with the ability to maintain consistency, hygiene, and innovation across all dishes.
Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth workflow.
Plan and manage kitchen schedules, staff rosters, and task allocation.
Supervise all kitchen staff including commis, helpers, and stewards.
Ensure food preparation meets company standards in taste, portion, and presentation.
Maintain recipe consistency across all outlets.
Introduce new dishes and seasonal menus as per concept and trends.
Conduct regular tasting and quality checks.
Monitor daily consumption and maintain minimum wastage.
Manage indenting, ordering, and receiving of raw materials.
Ensure cost-effective utilization of resources and maintain ideal food cost percentage.
Ensure kitchen hygiene and food safety standards as per FSSAI guidelines.
Conduct regular cleaning schedules and staff hygiene checks.
Maintain proper storage and temperature control of perishable items.
Train new and existing staff on standard recipes, portioning, and presentation.
Motivate and discipline the team to maintain high performance.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Coordinate with Restaurant Manager / RM for smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Maintain daily kitchen reports, wastage sheets, and inventory records.
Report to Corporate Chef / HR regarding staffing or operational issues.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Expertise in Indian, Tandoor, Continental, and Fast Food cuisine.
Sound knowledge of kitchen hygiene, safety, and cost control.
Creative, disciplined, and able to work under pressure.
Proficient in kitchen documentation and reporting.
