Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook food items as per the cafe menu and standard recipes.
Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company standards.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area at all times.
Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor about shortages.
Properly store raw materials and cooked food items.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Assist in menu preparation and daily kitchen operations.
Minimize food wastage and control portion sizes.
Coordinate with service staff to ensure timely order delivery.
Maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues.
Requirements:
Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Cook in a cafe, restaurant, or food service establishment.
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen hygiene.
Ability to prepare snacks, sandwiches, beverages, and basic Indian/Continental dishes.
Understanding of food safety standards.
Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in cafe operations.
Knowledge of bakery items and beverages (Tea, Coffee, Smoothies, etc.).
Basic inventory management skills.
