Job Description

1. Food Preparation & Cooking

Prepare and cook menu items according to standard recipes
Ensure consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation
Handle multiple online orders efficiently
Prepare mise en place (cutting, marination, sauces, etc.)
Follow cooking timelines to meet delivery deadlines

🧼 2. Hygiene & Food Safety

Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and workstations
Follow food safety standards (FSSAI / local regulations)
Store ingredients properly (FIFO method)
Monitor food temperatures and storage conditions
Wear proper hygiene gear (gloves, caps, aprons)

📦 3. Order Management

Check incoming online orders (Swiggy, Zomato, Uber Eats, etc.)
Ensure accurate preparation as per order instructions
Coordinate with packing staff for correct labeling
Minimize order errors and customer complaints

🥕 4. Inventory & Stock Control

Monitor daily stock levels
Inform supervisor about low stock items
Reduce food wastage
Ensure proper portion control

⚡ 5. Time & Efficiency Management

Work quickly during peak hours
Manage multiple orders simultaneously
Maintain speed without compromising quality

👥 6. Team Coordination

Work closely with other kitchen staff
Communicate clearly about order flow
Follow instructions from Head Chef or Kitchen Manager

🔧 7. Equipment Handling

Operate kitchen equipment safely
Report malfunctioning equipment
Ensure proper cleaning of tools and appliances
