Position: South Indian / Malayali Cuisine Cook

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced South Indian / Malayali Cuisine Cook with strong knowledge of authentic Kerala cuisine. The candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality traditional South Indian and Kerala dishes while maintaining excellent standards of hygiene, taste, and food presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare authentic Kerala and South Indian dishes according to required recipes and standards.

• Prepare traditional Malayali dishes including vegetarian and non-vegetarian items.

• Prepare Kerala breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, curries, seafood and traditional dishes.

• Demonstrate good knowledge of Kerala/Malabar cuisine and cooking methods.

• Maintain consistent taste, quality, portion size, and presentation.

• Prepare ingredients, marinate meat/fish, and carry out cutting, cleaning, and other food preparation activities.

• Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and cooking equipment.

• Monitor food supplies and inform management when ingredients need to be replenished.

• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

• Manage kitchen activities efficiently and complete meals according to the required schedule.

• Minimize food wastage and maintain proper portion control.

• Support menu planning and suggest traditional Kerala dishes when required.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience as a Kerala Cook / Malayali Cook / South Indian Cook / Kerala Chef.

• Strong knowledge of authentic Kerala and South Indian cuisine.

• Ability to prepare both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.

• Knowledge of Kerala seafood and Malabar cuisine is an advantage.

• Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety.

• Ability to work independently and manage daily meal preparation.

• Physically fit and able to work in a busy kitchen environment.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• It is a Full Time Cook / Chef job for candidates with 2 - 6+ years Experience.
