Cook Job Responsibilities (for office Canteen):
1. Food Preparation
Prepare breakfast, lunch, snacks as per requirement.
Follow menu plan and prepare food in proper quantity.
2. Cooking
Cook food items such as vegetables, rice, dal, chapati, snacks, etc.
Ensure food is properly cooked and served on time.
3.Follow hygiene and food safety standards.
4. Inventory Management
Check stock of vegetables, groceries, and cooking materials.
Inform supervisor when items are required.
5. Food Storage
Store raw materials and cooked food properly to avoid spoilage.
6. Gas and Equipment Safety
Use gas, oven, and kitchen equipment safely.
Ensure gas is turned off after cooking.
7. Coordination
Coordinate with pantry boy or helper for cutting vegetables, serving food, and cleaning.
8. Waste Management
Properly dispose of kitchen waste and maintain cleanliness.
9. Special Requirements
Prepare special food if required for meetings, guests, or events.
10. Discipline
Follow company rules, duty timings, and maintain proper behaviour at workplace.
