Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to the menu and standard recipes.

• Ensure all food is cooked and presented properly and in a timely manner.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.

• Monitor food stock levels and inform the supervisor of shortages.

• Store food products in compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.

• Assist in menu planning and suggest new dishes if required.

• Follow proper food handling procedures and maintain personal hygiene.

• Work cooperatively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a cook or relevant role.

• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, etc.).

• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.

• Excellent physical condition and stamina.

• Team player with good communication skills.

• Certification in food safety and hygiene is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Culinary school diploma or equivalent experience.

• Familiarity with health and safety kitchen regulations.

• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced kitchen setting

• May require working weekends, holidays, or early/late shifts depending on the schedule.
