We are looking for a Continental Cuisine to join our team at Zodiac Hr Consultants India Private Limited to provide excellent dining service to the guests. In this role, you will take orders, serve food and beverages as requested and ensure customer satisfaction throughout their visit. The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹15000 - ₹23000 and a friendly work environment.
Preparing Continental Dishes: Cooking a wide range of European-style dishes, including soups, salads, pastas, grilled meats, sauces, and desserts, following standard recipes.
Mastering Techniques: Demonstrating proficiency in various continental cooking methods (e.g., sautéing, grilling, roasting, and classic sauce preparation like Béchamel or Demi-glace).
Ingredient Management: Checking the quality, freshness, and proper storage of all ingredients, and minimizing food waste.
Menu Execution: Ensuring all dishes are cooked to the correct temperature, consistency, and portion size, adhering strictly to recipes for consistency.
Plating and Garnishing: Ensuring all dishes are attractively plated and garnished to meet the high standards of presentation, especially in fine-dining settings.
Maintaining Quality: Continuously monitoring the taste, flavor profile, and overall quality of all food items before they are served.
Mise en Place: Setting up and organizing the workstation with all necessary ingredients, tools, and equipment before service.
Hygiene and Safety: Strict adherence to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
Inventory and Ordering: Monitoring stock levels of ingredients, reporting shortages, and assisting with placing orders and managing raw material costs (inventory management).
Team Collaboration: Working closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chefs, and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth, efficient, and timely service delivery.
