We are looking for a DCDP Chef to join our team at PVR Inox and prepare delicious meals for our guests. The key responsibility includes preparing and delivering high-quality dishes, setting up the menu, and delegating tasks to kitchen staff when needed.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.
Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment.
Cook food in a timely manner and maintain consistency in quality.
Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients.
Supervise junior cooks and assist as required.
Slightly modify recipes to meet customer needs and preferences (e.g., no dairy, exclude nuts).
Check the freshness of food items and discard out-of-date products.
Minimum Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Culinary/Hotel Management.
Experience: Around 3 years in a similar role.
Strong familiarity with both advanced and non-traditional cooking techniques, recipes, and sanitation regulations.
Excellent time management, organizational, and leadership skills.
Culinary school diploma or certification is a strong advantage.
