Key Responsibilities-
Menu Development:
Create and innovate new recipes and menus, incorporating seasonal and fresh ingredients while staying current with culinary trends.
Kitchen Operations:
Oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation of Continental dishes to meet high standards.
Staff Management:
Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to ensure efficiency, teamwork, and adherence to kitchen procedures and safety standards.
Inventory and Procurement:
Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and order necessary supplies, ensuring cost-effective operations and minimal waste.
Quality Control:
Ensure all food prepared and served meets established quality standards, consistency, and customer expectations.
Hygiene and Safety:
Uphold strict food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards in the kitchen, complying with all health and safety regulations.
Cost Control:
Implement measures to control food and wage costs and reduce waste within the kitchen.
Collaboration:
Work with management and other departments, such as for event planning, to ensure smooth and cohesive operations.
