Job Responsibilities
· Menu Planning and Development:
Creating and designing new dishes and menus, considering seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
· Food Preparation and Cooking:
Preparing a wide range of continental dishes with precision and attention to detail, ensuring high standards of taste and presentation
· Ingredient Management:
Selecting fresh, high-quality ingredients and managing inventory to minimize waste and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
· Team Leadership and Training:
Supervising and mentoring junior chefs, providing guidance and training to ensure consistent quality and efficiency in the kitchen.
· Kitchen Operations:
Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards, and ensuring smooth workflow
· Quality Control:
Monitoring food preparation, presentation, and taste to maintain high standards and customer satisfaction
· Collaboration:
Working closely with other chefs, kitchen staff, and sometimes front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service
· Problem-Solving:
Addressing kitchen emergencies, making recipe adjustments, and ensuring smooth service flow
· Innovation:
Continuously seeking ways to improve recipes, presentation, and kitchen efficiency to meet evolving customer preferences
