Role Overview

A-One Solutions is seeking an experienced and skilled Continental Cook to manage and execute the preparation of diverse continental and related cuisine. The ideal candidate will maintain high food quality and hygiene standards while efficiently serving the daily needs of the staff.

Key Responsibilities 

The primary focus of this role is hands-on food preparation and kitchen management, including:

Quick Service and Appetizers: Efficiently prepare and present a variety of cold and hot sandwiches and other quick service items.

Breakfast Service: Prepare and cook all components of a standard English Breakfast, including various preparations of eggs (e.g., omelets, scrambled), sausages, grilled tomatoes, and sautéed mushrooms.

Continental Main Course: Cook and manage the preparation of classic continental dishes, such as pastas (e.g., Spaghetti Carbonara, Lasagna), Risotto, European Grills, specialized sauces, and popular salads (e.g., Caesar Salad).

Quality Control: Ensure all food is cooked, seasoned, and presented according to company standards and established recipes.

Hygiene and Safety: Maintain immaculate cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, strictly adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations.

Inventory Management: Assist with monitoring stock levels, minimizing waste, and communicating supply needs to the management.

Qualifications and Application

Education Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality OR a relevant Diploma.

Experience 3–4 years of relevant work experience as a Continental Cook.

Availability Must be available for a Trade Test with only a 2-day notice.
