Location: Powai and Thane Mumbai
Job Type: Full-time (6 Days Working | Rotational Off: Mon–Thu)
Shift Timings: Rotational 9-hour shifts (11 AM–9 PM / 3 PM–12 AM / 5 PM–2 AM)
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Commis 3 / Commis 2 to join the culinary team at a premier Continental Restaurant & Bar in Andheri. This role is ideal for candidates eager to grow their career in a professional kitchen while assisting senior chefs in daily food preparation and maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation: Assist in basic prep work, including cutting, chopping, peeling, and marination according to kitchen standards.
Service Support: Support the Commis 1, CDP, and senior chefs during active service hours to ensure timely food delivery.
Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of workstations, tools, and storage areas.
Inventory & Storage: Assist in receiving, checking, and properly storing kitchen supplies following SOPs (First-In, First-Out).
Quality Control: Follow food safety and sanitation standards strictly and ensure minimum wastage of raw materials.
Operational Discipline: Follow kitchen schedules, instructions, and safety protocols at all times.
Salary & Benefits
Commis 3 (Freshers/Entry Level): ₹13,000 Monthly + Service Charge + Cash Tips
Commis 2 (Experienced): ₹16,000 Monthly + Service Charge + Cash Tips

Requirements & Skills
Education: Basic culinary knowledge or a certificate/diploma in Hotel Management is preferred.
Experience: Open to freshers (Commis 3) and those with relevant kitchen experience (Commis 2).
Skills: Basic kitchen techniques, strong teamwork, and effective time management.
Attributes: Disciplined, punctual, and a strong willingness to learn under senior mentorship.
Physical Fitness: Ability to stand for long hours in a fast-paced, high-temperature kitchen environment.
