Commi3 (Pastry) is responsible for preparing high-quality bakery and pastry items, maintaining consistency, and supporting daily kitchen operations. The role requires good knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and presentation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare cakes, pastries, desserts, and bakery items as per standard recipes
• Ensure proper mise en place before service
• Handle baking equipment like ovens, mixers, etc. efficiently
• Assist in cake decoration, icing, and plating
• Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and presentation
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
• Support senior chefs in daily production and new preparations
• Monitor stock levels and inform seniors for replenishment
• Minimize wastage and maintain cost control
