Job Title: Commis 3 (Kitchen Assistant)

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Commis 3 to support kitchen operations by assisting in food preparation, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring smooth functioning of the assigned section.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in basic food preparation tasks such as cutting, chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients

• Support senior chefs (Commis 1 / Commis 2 / CDP) in daily kitchen operations

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per food safety standards

• Ensure proper storage of food items and ingredients

• Follow recipes and instructions provided by senior chefs

• Help in setting up and closing kitchen stations

• Monitor stock levels and inform seniors about shortages

• Handle kitchen equipment safely and responsibly

• Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations

• Willingness to learn and grow in the culinary field

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Good teamwork and communication skills

• Attention to detail and hygiene standards

Educational Requirements

• Diploma or certification in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts (preferred)

• Minimum: 10th or 12th pass

Experience

• 0–1 year of experience in a kitchen / hotel / restaurant (freshers can apply)

Working Conditions

• Flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays

• Physically demanding role (standing for long hours)

• It is a Full Time Cook / Chef job for candidates with 0 - 5 years of experience.
