HIRING: COMMI 2 CHEF (COMMIS II)
Required Skills: Tandoor | Chinese | Multi-Cuisine
We are looking for a skilled and hardworking Commi 2 Chef with practical experience in Tandoor, Chinese, and multi-cuisine food preparation.
Essential Skills & Responsibilities:
- Good knowledge of Tandoor items, including Chicken Tikka, Malai Tikka, Reshmi Kebab, Tangri Kebab, and other grilled items.
- Experience in Chinese cuisine, including noodles, fried rice, chilli chicken, Manchurian, and other popular dishes.
- Basic knowledge of Indian cuisine, gravies, curries, starters, and multi-cuisine preparations.
- Food preparation, cutting, marination, portioning, and mise en place.
- Knowledge of recipes, ingredient measurements, and food costing.
- Maintaining food hygiene, kitchen cleanliness, and food safety standards.
- Proper storage, stock rotation, and minimising food wastage.
- Ability to work efficiently during busy hours and follow the Head Chef's instructions.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Commi 2 or equivalent kitchen position.
- Practical cooking skills in Tandoor and Chinese cuisine are essential.
- Punctual, disciplined, and willing to work in a team.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
Job Location: Kolkata
