We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Commis Bakery to join our culinary team. As a Commis in the bakery section, you will assist in preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts, maintaining high standards of hygiene and food quality. This is an entry-level role ideal for individuals passionate about baking and eager to learn and grow in a professional kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and baking of breads, rolls, pastries, and other bakery items as per recipes and instructions.

• Measure and mix ingredients accurately using proper baking techniques.

• Operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, proofers, and sheeters under supervision.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery section, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.

• Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients and baked goods.

• Follow hygiene and safety standards in compliance with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP).

• Support senior chefs and team members during food preparation and service.

• Receive and store bakery supplies and ingredients as directed.

• Assist with stock rotation and inventory checks.

• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and supervisors.
