We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Commis 2 – Continental Chef to join our kitchen team. The candidate will assist in the preparation of continental dishes, ensure quality standards, and support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their culinary skills in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparation and cooking of continental dishes such as pasta, grills, sauces, and salads
Follow standard recipes and presentation guidelines
Support Chef de Partie and senior chefs in kitchen operations
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation
Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients
Help in mise en place and daily kitchen prep work
Monitor food quality and portion control
Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
Assist in inventory control and stock rotation (FIFO method)
Requirements:
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in continental kitchen
Basic knowledge of continental cuisine and cooking techniques
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
Good teamwork and communication skills
