Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Commis II – Tandoor Chef who has a strong command over traditional and modern Tandoori dishes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with tandoor equipment and the preparation of kebabs, rotis, naan, tikkas, and other classic tandoori items.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of all tandoori dishes as per standard recipes and presentation.

• Operate the tandoor oven efficiently and ensure consistent food quality and taste.

• Prepare marinades, skewers, and mise en place for all tandoori items.

• Cook and grill meats, seafood, and vegetables using tandoor techniques.

• Ensure all hygiene, health, and safety standards are maintained.

• Work closely with the Tandoor CDP or Sous Chef to meet kitchen demands.

• Maintain proper storage and rotation of products.

• Help with receiving and stocking supplies in the tandoor section.

• Maintain cleanliness of tandoor area and kitchen equipment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Commis II in the Tandoor section.

• Strong knowledge of North Indian & Mughlai tandoori dishes.

• Ability to manage pressure during busy hours.

• Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene.

• Team player with good communication skills.

• Willing to learn and grow within the kitchen team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in hotel, restaurant, or cloud kitchen setups.

• Knowledge of portion control and kitchen documentation.

• It is a Full Time Cook / Chef job for candidates with 1 - 5 years of experience.
