Job Title: Commis 3
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Commis 3 to assist in basic food preparation and support kitchen operations. The role is ideal for entry-level candidates who are eager to learn and grow in the culinary field.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparation of ingredients (cutting, chopping, peeling, marination)
Support senior chefs (Commis 1 / Commis 2 / CDP) in daily kitchen tasks
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per food safety standards
Ensure proper storage of food items and ingredients
Follow instructions and standard recipes provided by senior chefs
Help in setting up and closing kitchen stations
Monitor stock levels and inform seniors about shortages
Handle kitchen equipment safely and maintain them properly
Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Required Skills & Qualifications
Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and cooking techniques
Willingness to learn and grow in the culinary field
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good teamwork and communication skills
Attention to hygiene and detail
Educational Requirements
Diploma or certification in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts (preferred)
Minimum: 10th / 12th pass
Experience
0–1 year of experience in hotel / restaurant kitchen
