Commis I – Continental
Job Purpose
The Commis I is responsible for handling assigned sections independently, preparing Continental dishes as per brand standards, and supporting kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and cook Continental dishes as per recipes and presentation standards.
• Handle assigned kitchen section during service with minimal supervision.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and consistency.
• Coordinate with Chef de Partie on production planning and service flow.
• Control wastage and ensure optimal utilization of raw materials.
• Maintain hygiene, safety, and SOP compliance.
Qualification & Experience
• Diploma / Degree in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management
• 3–5 years of experience in Continental kitchen operations
• Strong knowledge of Continental cuisine and plating standards
