Hiring: Commis Chef – Chocolate Section / Designer Section

Reporting To: CDP / Pastry Chef / DCDP
Role Overview:
We are looking for a passionate Commis Chef with 1+ year experience in the chocolate or designer pastry section. The candidate should be familiar with basic chocolate techniques and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing chocolates: bonbons, pralines, truffles, molded items
Support tempering, molding, enrobing, and filling tasks
Follow recipes, maintain hygiene, and ensure food safety
Help with mise en place, cleaning, and chocolate inventory
Work in a temperature-controlled kitchen under senior chef supervision
Requirements:
1+ year of experience in chocolate/pastry/confectionery
Knowledge of chocolate handling, tempering, and flavor pairing
Culinary/Pastry diploma preferred
Team player with time management and hygiene awareness
HACCP/food safety knowledge is a plus
