Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food as directed by the Chef de Partie.
Follow standard recipes and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and storage areas.
Check and manage food stock levels, reporting shortages or spoilage.
Follow all hygiene, health, and safety regulations in the kitchen.
Set up kitchen workstations with necessary ingredients and equipment.
Support senior chefs with tasks and take initiative in learning new techniques.
Label and date food items and ensure proper storage.
Minimize waste and ensure proper use of raw materials.
Perform other related duties as required by the kitchen leadership.
Basic culinary education or training preferred.
1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen (depending on establishment).
Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
