Job Purpose:

To support the kitchen team in preparing and presenting authentic Indian and Chinese dishes while maintaining quality, consistency, and hygiene standards at Red Thread Hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and present Indian and Chinese dishes as per standard recipes and chef’s instructions.

• Assist in both Indian/Chinese sections and Breakfast preparation

• Ensure taste, texture, and presentation meet hotel standards.

• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in assigned work areas.

• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

• Monitor and minimize food wastage.

• Support Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in smooth kitchen operations.

• Ensure stock rotation and inform seniors about shortages or requirements.

• Adapt to menu changes and seasonal demands for both cuisines.
  
  Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma / Certificate in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management.

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in Indian and/or Chinese kitchens.

  • Knowledge of Indian spices, curries, tandoor operations, and Chinese wok cooking.

  • Ability to follow recipes and plating standards accurately.

  • Team player with discipline and strong work ethics.

  • Good understanding of food hygiene, HACCP, and safety practices.

• It is a Full Time Cook / Chef job for candidates with 6 months - 2 years of experience.
