Hummustae is a modern Lebanese kitchen known for its authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, and contemporary approach to Middle Eastern dining. We are expanding our team at our new Saket outlet and are looking for a skilled and motivated Commis I to join us.
Prepare, cook, and assemble menu items as per Hummustae’s recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain the highest levels of kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety at all times.
Read and execute Kitchen Order Tickets (KOTs) accurately and efficiently.
Manage delivery and takeaway orders, ensuring proper packaging and timely dispatch.
Monitor and store ingredients and supplies properly; assist in inventory management and stock rotation.
Support senior chefs in daily operations and mise-en-place.
Maintain portion control and minimize wastage.
Interact courteously with customers when required and ensure a positive dining experience.
Use POS (Point of Sale) software to process and manage orders (training can be provided if needed).
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a professional kitchen (Lebanese, Mediterranean, or Quick Service Restaurant experience preferred).
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (FSSAI certification is a plus).
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong sense of responsibility, cleanliness, and teamwork.
Familiarity with POS systems or willingness to learn.
