Job Description
Job Title: Commis 1Location: Dribble CafeDepartment: KitchenReports to: Chef de Partie / Sous Chef / Head ChefJob Type: Full-Time---Position Summary:As a Commis 1 at Dribble Cafe, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food to the highest standards. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations, uphold hygiene standards, and contribute to delivering an excellent guest experience.---Key Responsibilities:Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards set by Dribble Cafe.Assist in daily mise en place for assigned stations.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times.Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients.Follow food safety and sanitation procedures as per HACCP guidelines.Support senior chefs with kitchen tasks as needed.Monitor portion control and minimize food waste.Uphold Dribble Cafe's commitment to quality, presentation, and consistency.Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude with colleagues and supervisors.Stay updated on menu changes, ingredients, and kitchen procedures.---Requirements:Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role (preferred).Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen equipment.Strong understanding of hygiene, health, and safety regulations.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Team player with good communication skills.Flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays.Culinary school diploma or relevant certification (preferred but not mandatory).---What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefitsOpportunities for training and career growthA positive and supportive work environmentStaff discounts at Dribble Cafe---If you're passionate about food and want to grow with a dynamic team, apply now and be part of the Dribble Cafe experience!
