Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Commis 1,2,3 – Pastry to join our pastry team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in preparing high-quality pastries, cakes, desserts, breads, and baked goods while maintaining hygiene, consistency, and presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of pastries, cakes, desserts, breads, and baked products according to standard recipes.

• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all pastry items.

• Assist in planning and developing new dessert and bakery items.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the pastry kitchen as per food safety standards.

• Monitor ingredient stock levels and report inventory requirements to the Chef.

• Minimize food wastage and ensure proper storage of ingredients.

• Follow SOPs, food safety regulations, and HACCP guidelines.

• Operate and maintain bakery equipment safely and efficiently.

• Support the pastry team during production and service hours.

• Ensure timely preparation and delivery of pastry items.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience as a Commis 1,2,3 – Pastry or in a similar role.

• Diploma or Certification in Bakery & Pastry is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry production.

• Familiarity with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
