We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chinese/Momos Chef with 2–5 years of hands-on experience in preparing authentic Chinese cuisine and a variety of momos. The ideal candidate should be able to maintain consistent food quality, ensure kitchen hygiene, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a wide range of Chinese dishes, including noodles, fried rice, Manchurian, chilli dishes, soups, and other menu items.
Prepare different varieties of momos, including steamed, fried, tandoori, kurkure, and pan-fried momos.
Prepare fresh momo fillings, dough, chutneys, sauces, and marinades.
Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
Maintain high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction.
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
Manage kitchen inventory and inform management about stock requirements.
Minimize food wastage and ensure efficient use of ingredients.
Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
Coordinate with kitchen staff and service team to ensure timely order preparation.
Assist in developing new recipes and menu items when required.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine and momo preparation.
Expertise in wok cooking and high-flame cooking techniques.
Ability to prepare sauces, gravies, and seasonings from scratch.
Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices.
Ability to work under pressure during peak business hours.
Good time management and teamwork skills.
Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience as a Chinese/Momos Chef.
Experience in restaurants, food courts, cloud kitchens, or QSR outlets is preferred.
Basic knowledge of inventory management and kitchen operations.
