Job Description

Job Summary:

We are hiring Commis II / Commis III Chefs with an Asian & Chinese cuisine background to support preparation and execution of Flax’s healthy Asian menu in a central/cloud kitchen setup.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparation, mise-en-place, and basic cooking of Asian & Chinese dishes.
Prepare sauces, marinades, stir-fries, noodles, rice, and accompaniments as per SOPs.
Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and quality.
Maintain hygiene, food safety standards, and clean workstation.
Support batch cooking, packaging, and daily kitchen operations.

Requirements:

Commis II: 1–2 years experience in Asian / Chinese cuisine
Commis III: 06 months –1 year experience or trained with Asian kitchen exposure
Basic knowledge of wok cooking and Asian ingredients preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
