Job description
We are looking for a skilled Chinese Chef to prepare authentic Chinese cuisine while maintaining quality, hygiene, and consistency. The chef will be responsible for daily food preparation, cooking, and supporting smooth kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook authentic Chinese dishes including wok items, noodles, rice, and sauces
Handle mise en place and ensure timely food preparation
Maintain taste, presentation, and portion standards
Operate wok and other kitchen equipment safely
Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
Manage raw materials and minimize wastage
Coordinate with kitchen team for smooth service
Maintain cleanliness of work station and kitchen area
Follow instructions from Head Chef / Sous Chef
Requirements:
Experience in Chinese cuisine
Knowledge of wok cooking and Chinese sauces
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen
Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene
Team player with discipline and kitchen etiquette
