Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chinese Chef (DCDP/CDP) to manage the Chinese kitchen section and prepare authentic Chinese dishes while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation. The ideal candidate should have expertise in wok cooking, sauce preparation, and the ability to work efficiently during busy service hours while supervising junior kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a wide range of Chinese dishes as per standard recipes.
Operate the wok station efficiently and maintain consistency in taste and presentation.
Ensure mise en place is completed before service.
Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation standards.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene as per FSSAI/HACCP standards.
Supervise and train Commis Chefs and kitchen helpers.
Control food costs by minimizing wastage and ensuring proper storage.
Monitor inventory and coordinate with the purchase team for ingredient requirements.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company SOPs.
Assist the Sous Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and introducing new dishes.
Handle kitchen equipment safely and report maintenance issues promptly.
Work effectively under pressure during peak service hours.

Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts preferred.
DCDP: 3–5 years of experience in Chinese cuisine.
CDP: 5–8 years of experience in Chinese cuisine, preferably in hotels or reputed restaurants.
Experience in handling high-volume kitchen operations is an advantage.
Salary
DCDP: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
CDP: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month
(Salary depends on experience, skills, and location.)
