🧾 Job Summary:

We are looking for a responsible and skilled Ayurvedic Cook to prepare meals for patients as per prescribed Ayurvedic dietary guidelines. The ideal candidate should have experience in preparing sattvic, light, and healing meals and must ensure hygiene, taste, and timeliness in daily cooking.

🧘 Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals as per doctor/dietician's Ayurvedic instructions (light, non-spicy, digestive-friendly food)

• Ensure use of fresh, seasonal, and sattvic ingredients

• Customize food according to individual patient needs (e.g., lactose-free, gluten-free, low-oil)

• Maintain hygiene standards of the kitchen and food storage

• Prepare herbal teas, decoctions (kadha), and therapeutic recipes when required

• Work in coordination with the hospital’s dietician and wellness team

• Ensure timely meal service (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks)

• Maintain stock of basic kitchen ingredients and inform admin for replenishment

• Avoid use of processed, packaged, or reheated food

• Record daily menu and portions served

• Ensure patient satisfaction with taste and quality of food

🛠️ Skills & Requirements:

• Prior experience in Ayurvedic or health-focused cooking preferred

• Basic knowledge of Ayurvedic food principles is an advantage

• Ability to handle kitchen independently

• Understanding of cleanliness and hospital hygiene protocols

• Team player with good time management

• Physically fit to stand and work during cooking hours
