Job Title: CDP – Indian Cuisine (North & South Indian) Location: The Grind Cafe Reports To: Head Chef / Kitchen Manager About The Role We’re looking for a strong Chef de Partie (CDP) who can independently handle the North & South Indian section at The Grind Cafe, Tellapur. You must be hands-on, fast, quality-focused, and consistent. This is a high-efficiency café kitchen — speed + taste + hygiene matter. Key Responsibilities 1. Kitchen Operations ● Handle complete Indian section (gravies, tandoor items if applicable, dosa/idli/breakfast, curries, rice, breads, etc.) ● Ensure consistent taste, portioning & plating ● Prep planning and mise-en-place management ● Control wastage and maintain food cost discipline 2. Quality & Hygiene ● Follow SOPs and standard recipes strictly ● Maintain hygiene as per FSSAI standards ● Ensure proper storage, labeling, FIFO practice ● Daily temperature logs & cleanliness checks 3. Production & Coordination ● Coordinate with central kitchen (if applicable) ● Support café service during peak hours ● Work closely with service team for smooth order flow ● Train and guide Commis staff 4.
