Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Continental Chef to join our restaurant kitchen team. The candidate should have good knowledge of Continental cuisine, food preparation, presentation, and kitchen hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook Continental dishes such as pasta, pizza, sandwiches, burgers, steaks, grilled dishes, soups, salads, and other international cuisine items.
Maintain consistent food quality, taste, portion sizes, and presentation.
Handle food preparation, sauces, dressings, marinades, and kitchen ingredients.
Follow standard recipes and maintain consistency in every order.
Ensure proper food storage, freshness, and stock rotation.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per food safety standards.
Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation.
Minimize food wastage and maintain proper inventory of kitchen ingredients.
Assist in menu development and suggest new dishes when required.
Follow kitchen safety procedures and maintain discipline.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience as a Continental Chef or in a similar kitchen role.
Good knowledge of Continental cooking techniques and ingredients.
Ability to manage multiple orders during busy service hours.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen management.
Good teamwork, time management, and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain food quality and presentation standards.
