An Indian & Continental Chef is responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes from both Indian and Continental cuisines, ensuring excellent taste, consistency, and presentation while maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a wide variety of Indian dishes, including curries, breads, rice, and snacks
Prepare Continental dishes such as pastas, grills, steaks, soups, salads, and sauces
Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and portion control
Plan and assist in menu development for Indian and Continental sections
Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the kitchen
Manage food preparation, storage, and inventory
Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth kitchen operations
Ensure timely preparation and service of food
Minimize food wastage and control costs
Skills & Requirements:
Proven experience as an Indian & Continental Chef
Strong knowledge of Indian spices and Continental cooking techniques
