Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Indian Curry Chef with strong knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience preparing a wide variety of authentic Indian curries using traditional spices, cooking methods, and recipes.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook authentic Indian curries (veg and non-veg) such as butter chicken, dal, paneer dishes, and regional curries
Use traditional Indian spices and techniques (tadka, slow cooking, grinding masalas)
Maintain high standards of taste, presentation, and food quality
Ensure kitchen hygiene and food safety standards are followed
Assist with menu planning and ingredient selection
Manage food preparation efficiently during busy service hours
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Indian curry chef or similar role
Strong knowledge of Indian spices, herbs, and regional curry styles
Ability to cook traditional Indian dishes from scratch
Good time management and teamwork skills
Culinary training or equivalent experience preferred
Preferred:
Experience working in an Indian restaurant
Knowledge of North and/or South Indian cuisine
