Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Tandoor Chef with strong expertise in traditional Indian tandoor cooking. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating a clay tandoor oven and preparing a variety of authentic Indian breads and tandoor dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook tandoor items such as naan, roti, kulcha, tandoori chicken, kebabs, and paneer
Operate and maintain the tandoor oven safely and efficiently
Marinate meats and vegetables using traditional Indian spices and methods
Ensure consistent taste, texture, and presentation of all dishes
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the kitchen
Work closely with other kitchen staff during busy service hours
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Tandoor Chef in an Indian restaurant
Strong knowledge of traditional Indian tandoor techniques and spices
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
Good teamwork and time-management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with North Indian cuisine
Culinary training or equivalent practical experience
