Job Description: Pizzaiolo (Pizza Chef)

Position Purpose
The Pizzaiolo (Pizza Chef) is the core of the kitchen, responsible for preparing high-quality, authentic Italian pizzas and menu items to brand specifications. This role demands mastery of dough handling, precise oven management, and strict compliance with global food safety standards.
Core Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Cooking: Roll, stretch, and toss dough to exact brand thickness. Portion ingredients precisely and execute all recipes (pizzas, pastas, starters) consistently.
Oven Management: Master the high-temperature pizza oven, monitoring cook times closely to ensure perfect crust texture and presentation.
Kitchen Operations & Hygiene: Maintain strict cleanliness of the live kitchen and prep stations. Adhere to FSSAI guidelines, first-in-first-out (FIFO) stock rotation, and daily sanitization protocols.
Inventory & Portion Control: Monitor ingredient freshness, report low stock levels, and minimize wastage through precise portioning.
Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with the front-of-house service team to ensure correct order flow and timely food dispatch during peak rush hours.
