Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and experienced All-Rounder Chef who can independently handle kitchen operations and prepare a variety of dishes. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of multiple cuisines, food preparation, kitchen management, and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the restaurant's menu and quality standards.
Handle food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Demonstrate knowledge of multiple cuisines, including Indian, Chinese, and Continental, as required.
Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and portion sizes.
Manage daily kitchen operations and coordinate with other kitchen staff.
Ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of food ingredients.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow hygiene and food safety standards.
Monitor ingredient stock and inform management about purchasing requirements.
Minimise food wastage and maintain portion control.
Ensure timely preparation and service of food orders.
Maintain kitchen equipment and follow safety procedures.
Requirements
Previous experience as an All-Rounder Chef in a restaurant, hotel, café, or similar establishment.
Knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques across multiple cuisines.
Ability to work independently and manage kitchen responsibilities.
Understanding of food hygiene, safety, and kitchen sanitation.
Good time management and organisational skills.
Ability to work under pressure during busy service hours.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, when required.
