We are looking for a skilled and versatile All-Rounder Chef/Cook specializing in Indian cuisine, multi-cuisine dishes, and traditional desserts & bakery items. The ideal candidate should be experienced in preparing a variety of dishes, including Maharashtrian delicacies, sweets, and baked goods, while ensuring top-notch taste, quality, and hygiene. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of cuisines, including Maharashtrian, North Indian, South Indian, Chinese, and Continental dishes. Specialize in desserts and bakery items, including traditional Indian sweets like Gulab Jamun, Rasgulla, Pedas, Modaks, Halwa, Cakes, and Pastries. Maintain food quality, consistency, hygiene, and presentation standards. Manage kitchen operations, food preparation, and inventory. Innovate and create new dessert recipes and seasonal bakery items. Ensure kitchen cleanliness and compliance with food safety regulations. Train junior kitchen staff and assist in menu planning. Monitor food costs, portion control, and minimize wastage. Requirements: ✅ Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant/hotel kitchen. ✅ Expertise in Maharashtrian, Indian cuisine, and bakery/dessert preparation. ✅ Ability to bake cakes, pastries, bread, and prepare traditional Indian sweets. ✅ Knowledge of food hygiene, safety regulations, and storage practices. ✅ Strong teamwork, time management, and organizational skills. ✅ Flexible to work morning and evening shifts as per hotel needs.
