Key Responsibilities
Culinary Excellence: Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
Menu & Inventory Management: Assist in creating innovative menus, managing stock levels, ordering ingredients, and minimizing food waste.
Kitchen Leadership: Oversee, train, and motivate line cooks and kitchen staff to ensure smooth, efficient service.
Safety & Sanitation: Maintain a spotlessly clean kitchen, adhering to all local health department regulations, food safety standards, and FIFO protocols.
Quality Control: Inspect all ingredients for freshness and ensure every plate leaving the kitchen meets our quality standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef or Head Cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Deep understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
