Job Description

We are looking for a Chef / Cook to join our Byte Me! Food Truck team and prepare delicious meals for our customers. The role involves cooking high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen hygiene, managing ingredients, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver high-quality, delicious dishes on time.

• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen area.

• Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment.

• Study recipes, gather all necessary ingredients, and follow proper cooking techniques.

• Supervise or assist kitchen helpers as needed.

• Modify recipes based on customer requests (e.g., no dairy, exclude nuts).

• Check freshness of food and discard expired items.

• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized kitchen.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 6 months–2 years of experience as a cook, chef, or in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple orders.

• Time management and teamwork skills are essential.

• A culinary diploma or certification is a plus but not mandatory.
