Food Preparation and Cooking

• Diverse Menu Execution: Prepare and present a wide variety of dishes accurately according to standardized recipes across multiple cuisines.

• Customization: Modify dishes or accommodate special dietary requests (e.g., allergies, vegan, low-sodium, or gluten-free) without compromising taste.

• Plating and Presentation: Ensure every plate meets high visual standards for consistency and appeal before it leaves the kitchen.

2. Kitchen Management and Operations

• Station Organization: Set up and maintain multiple cooking stations (e.g., tandoor, fry, sauté, or continental range) with required utensils and equipment.

• Order Coordination: Manage ticket flow during peak hours to ensure multi-course or multi-cuisine orders from different stations finish simultaneously.

• Inventory Control: Track stock levels, handle ingredient sourcing, check for food freshness, and discard expired items to prevent spoilage.

3. Quality, Safety, and Hygiene

• Sanitation Standards: Strictly follow local health, safety, and FSSAI (or regional equivalent) food hygiene regulations.

• Quality Assurance: Taste and inspect food products regularly to maintain uniform taste, texture, and temperature.

4. Menu Planning and Cost Control

• Menu Innovation: Research market trends and assist management in updating or introducing new items to the multi-cuisine menu.

Waste Minimization: Monitor portion control, recycle prep trimmings safely, and help keep overall food and labor costs within target budgets.

5. Team Collaboration

• Staff Mentorship: Train, guide, and supervise junior cooks, commis, or kitchen helpers on cross-cuisine techniques.

• Front-of-House Communication: Coordinate smoothly with Sodexo service staff, waiters, or floor managers to resolve customer feedback or timing delays quickly.
