Job Summary We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Commis 3 to join our kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about food and cooking and are looking to build their career in a professional kitchen environment. The selected candidate will gain hands-on experience in food preparation, kitchen operations, hygiene and safety practices, and maintaining Yummy Bee’s food quality standards while working closely with experienced culinary professionals.

Key Responsibilities

● Assist senior chefs with daily food preparation and kitchen operations.

● Perform basic preparation activities such as washing, peeling, cutting, chopping, and portioning ingredients.

● Follow recipes, commands and instructions provided by senior chefs.

● Assist in preparing food items according to Yummy Bee's quality and presentation standards.

● Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned workstation.

● Follow proper food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices.

● Handle ingredients and kitchen equipment safely.

● Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of food items.

● Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.

● Assist the kitchen team during preparation and service periods.

● Help maintain proper portion control and minimize food wastage.

● Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before use.

● Maintain personal hygiene and grooming standards.

● Support senior chefs and other kitchen team members as required.

Eligibility

● Freshers are welcome to apply.

● Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, Food Production, or a related field is preferred.

● Basic knowledge of food preparation is an advantage.

● Passion for cooking and interest in the food industry.

● Willingness to learn professional kitchen practices.

● Good teamwork and communication skills.

● Positive attitude and ability to follow instructions.
