Designation- Chinese Chef
Report to- Executive Chef/ Operation Manager
Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Chinese Chef from the industrial catering / large-scale canteen industry to manage and prepare Chinese cuisine for 5,000+ employees daily at industrial sites. The role requires expertise in bulk cooking, food safety, and high-volume kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and supervise Chinese / Indo-Chinese meals for large-scale industrial canteens
Ensure consistent taste, quality, and portion control in bulk food production
Manage Chinese kitchen operations and meet daily service timelines
Maintain food safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance
Control food cost, minimize wastage, and support inventory planning
Supervise and train kitchen staff in bulk cooking methods Experience:
8 years+ as a Chinese Chef Minimum 4–5 years in industrial catering or mass food production
Proven experience handling 5,000+ meals per day Skills & Knowledge:
Strong expertise in Chinese & Indo-Chinese cuisine
Knowledge of industrial kitchen equipment and bulk cooking
Understanding of food safety standards (HACCP / FSSAI preferred)
Qualifications:
Culinary Diploma or relevant certification (preferred) Work Location Industrial Kitchen at Chengalpattu, Chennai. Industry experience in industrial canteen service provider companies is mandatory.
