Job Description – F&B Production (Commis I / II / III)

Hotel: CAG Pride Hotel, Coimbatore


Job Summary

We are looking for skilled and passionate Commis I / II / III for our kitchen operations. The candidate should have hands-on experience in multi-cuisine cooking and be capable of maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and kitchen operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food as per standard recipes and SOPs

  • Handle different cuisines: Chinese, Tandoor, Indian, South Indian, Continental

  • Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control

  • Assist senior chefs in daily kitchen operations

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times

  • Ensure proper storage and handling of raw materials and ingredients

  • Follow FIFO and food safety standards

  • Maintain proper food preparation records and production trails

  • Ensure proper usage of kitchen equipment and tools

  • Support in mise-en-place and timely food preparation

  • Minimize food wastage and control kitchen costs

  • Maintain discipline and teamwork within the kitchen

  • Follow safety procedures and kitchen regulations

  • Assist in inventory control and stock management


Eligibility & Requirements

  • Position: Commis I / II / III

  • Experience: 1–5 years (based on level) in hotel or restaurant kitchens

  • Cuisine Expertise: Chinese / Tandoor / Indian / South Indian / Continental

  • Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management preferred

  • Candidates can be from anywhere in Tamil Nadu

  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen SOPs

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • Good team player with a positive attitude

  • Immediate joiners preferred
