Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Service & Sales

• Greet customers warmly, take food and beverage orders accurately, and process transactions using a POS system.

• Answer customer questions regarding ingredients, preparation methods, and menu items.

• Handle customer concerns and complaints with a professional and friendly attitude, escalating issues to management when necessary.

• Suggestively sell and promote menu items, retail merchandise, and ongoing promotions.

2. Beverage Preparation

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of coffee, tea, and other beverages following established recipes and quality standards (e.g., espresso shots, latte art, milk steaming).

• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other preparation equipment.

• Ensure consistency in beverage quality, taste, and presentation.

3. Store Operations & Maintenance

• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized work area, including the bar, customer areas, and restrooms.

• Wash dishes and utensils as needed.

• Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and notify management of low stock.

• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

• Assist with food preparation (e.g., heating pastries, making sandwiches) as required.

4. Teamwork & Communication

• Communicate effectively with team members and management during shifts.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient service and a positive work environment.

• Attend all required staff meetings and training sessions.
