The Barista is responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, handling customer orders, and ensuring a clean and welcoming café environment. This role focuses on excellent customer service, product knowledge, and maintaining café standards.
Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to standard recipes.
Greet customers warmly and take orders efficiently.
Provide product recommendations and upsell items where appropriate.
Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other café equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including counters, tables, and equipment.
Ensure proper hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards.
Manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, and other supplies; report shortages.
Handle cash, process payments, and maintain accurate billing records.
Follow company procedures, recipes, and presentation guidelines.
Support team members and assist in daily café operations.
Previous experience as a barista or in food & beverage service (preferred).
Knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso preparation, and café equipment.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic understanding of hygiene and food safety standards.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
