Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Barista to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in preparing coffee and beverages, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining café standards. This role requires passion for coffee, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Coffee & Beverage Preparation

• Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and specialty beverages.

• Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other café equipment safely.

• Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and beverage quality.

• Follow company recipes, beverage ratios, and standards.

Customer Service

• Greet customers, take orders, and ensure a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

• Provide product recommendations and explain menu items when needed.

• Handle customer feedback courteously and resolve minor concerns promptly.

Café Operations

• Assist in opening and closing duties of the café.

• Maintain cleanliness of the workstation, counters, and equipment throughout the shift.

• Ensure proper stocking of coffee beans, milk, syrups, disposables, and other café items.

• Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation protocols at all times.

Inventory & Reporting

• Assist in daily inventory checks and update consumption records.

• Report equipment faults or low-stock items to the manager promptly.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Minimum 6 months of experience as a Barista or in a similar café/service role.

• Basic knowledge of coffee brewing, espresso extraction, and beverage preparation.

• Additional training or certification in coffee/brewing is a plus.

Skills & Attributes

• Maximum age: 30 years

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Pleasant personality with a passion for coffee and hospitality.

• Ability to work under pressure and handle high-volume operations.

• Team player with a positive attitude.

Work Conditions

• Full-time position based in Mumbai.

• Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Long hours of standing and working in a fast-paced environment.
