Ash&Nova is a vibrant sports café overlooking Rex Field, a 7-a-side football turf. We serve specialty coffee, matcha, energy drinks, and light bites in a lively yet peaceful setting where sports and community come together.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Barista to join our team at Ash&Nova. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and beverages, great communication skills, and the ability to create a welcoming experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, matcha, energy drinks, and other beverages consistently.

Take customer orders, process payments, and manage the POS system.

Ensure the café space is clean, organized, and inviting.

Maintain stock of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages when necessary.

Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent service.

Follow food safety and hygiene standards.

Assist in café events and promotional activities related to Rex Field and Ash&Nova.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a barista or in food & beverage service preferred (training can be provided).

Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and café equipment is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and during football matches/events.

Passion for coffee, matcha, or café culture.
