Barista

Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Coffee Bar Tender to prepare and serve high-quality coffee, beverages, and light refreshments while ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, hygiene standards, and the ability to maintain a welcoming café environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages as per standard recipes.

• Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other café equipment efficiently.

• Take customer orders accurately and handle billing/cash transactions.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee bar, equipment, and seating area.

• Refill stock items such as coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, and snacks.

• Ensure proper storage and handling of food and beverage items.

• Provide excellent customer service and address customer queries politely.

• Monitor inventory levels and inform management about stock requirements.

• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times.

• Support promotional activities and upselling of café products.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Barista/Coffee Bar Tender.

• Knowledge of espresso machines, brewing methods, and beverage preparation.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Basic cash handling and billing knowledge.

• Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays if required.

• Well-groomed appearance and positive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Barista training or Hospitality is an added advantage.

• Experience in café, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred.

• It is a Full Time Cook / Chef job for candidates with 1 - 3 years of experience.
